Want to work quitely on your assignment in the silent study area or sit near to the books or journals while typing? Borrowing a laptop allows you to be flexible in where and how you work. All laptops allow you to connect through the wireless network to gain access to the university's Library and IT resources such as Blackboard, Webmail and e-Library, and all allow you to save work onto a USB device, or upload it onto your own F Drive using the Filestore link on the Student Channel web site.
You can find out more about the scheme at http://www.library.salford.ac.uk/it/laptops/
